A sable coat is chosen slowly. It is not a matter of trend but of balance — between the material, the shape and the way you move. Here is what to look at, and what to touch.

The pile

Sable has a silky pile that moves freely in every direction. Run your hand across it: it should fall softly and settle back on its own. Look at how evenly the colour flows from one pelt to the next — in a well-composed piece the shades meet without jumps, and in daylight the surface reads as one.

“A well-proportioned fur is one you forget you are wearing.”

Silhouette and length

A long coat shows off the fall of the fur and its movement; a jacket is lighter and more everyday. Think about your height, the occasions you will wear it for and the shoes you wear most: the right length is the one that never changes the way you walk.

Fit

Try it on in motion: raise your arms, sit down, turn around. The shoulders should stay in place, the sleeves should not pull, the collar should frame the face without hiding it. A well-proportioned fur is one you forget you are wearing.

Finish

Look at how the pelts are arranged, whether the lines follow the body, how the lining and closures are attached. These details reveal the care that went into the piece — and how long it will last.

The best way to choose is still to see and try the piece in person. If you would like to discover the SABLE collection at your own pace, you can request a private appointment.
